After the success of the BLU G9 Pro mobile phone, BLU Products launched the BLU G90 Pro after the device got FCC approval in February 2020. There is also G50, G80, and G90 in tow but G90 Pro G0370WW is the first BLU gaming smartphone.

Just like BLU G9 Pro, this model is expected to take the company to new heights in an unlocked mobile phone in the USA. This smartphone is tailor-made for the American market.

Going through BLU G90 Pro specs, it comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display and gets a 5100 mAh battery with a quick charger. Due to the presence of higher battery capacity, the device weighs 218 grams but gets good additions like the quick charge.

Going through the BLU G90 camera, it has a quad-camera setup on the rear side and it will be the first BLU smartphone with a quad rear camera. It has got a 48 MP primary camera + Depth Sensor + 8 Mega pixel wide angle lens + Macro Camera.

From the software front, just like G90, it will run on the Android 10 version out of the box, and maybe it will qualify for the Android 11 update.

While FCC has revealed most of the device specifications, there is nothing known about the internals like the processor and the chipset although it will be a MediaTek G90 chipset with an Octa-core processor. The 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage tells us that this will be pretty much a $250 phone.

Among the features, it has a Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor. To access this, you will have to go to Intelligence assistance settings.

The device supports 2G: GSM B2/3/5/8, 3G: WCDMA B1/2/4/5/8, and 4G: FDD B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/28（A+B) bands that correspond to telecom frequencies in USA.

Will G90 Pro get an Android 11 update?

⇒ As of now, the Miami-based unlocked smartphone seller hasn't mentioned anything about the software update for this phone, maybe it will get the update. I think you should be OK with the Android 10 that comes out of the box with this device. Sadly it won't be updated to the Android 12 version.
