It was just a couple of months back that Google announced an official name for the Android Q version as Android 10. It's the tenth-anniversary special Android version, and it's named so.

Leaving behind the Android 10 name and sacking of the dessert naming convention, there are enough details on what devices will be getting the Android 10 update. Android 10 update Phones List

The Android 10 version is the latest Android version. A number of devices are expected to get the Android 10 upgrade from the existing Android 9.1 Pie version on them. Some of them have already got this update.

For simplicity, let's break down the new Android software availability by major manufacturers of phones. Remember that these are just confirmed devices -


Android is by Google and hence you shouldn't be surprised to see Google devices name first here in this list when it comes to quicker delivery of software upgrades.

Google offers two years of full support and three years of security updates for its phones sold under its own brand.

Don't be quite surprised to see the Nokia phone right on top and ahead of Samsung which has carried the tradition of delivering faster software updates ever since Android debut.

Japan is known to manufacture quality products and so does Sony, a Japanese electronics company that is in the industry for a long time now. Amid cheap Android phones, their Android phones have a stand.

Often late in listing their qualifying smartphones, the following Sony Xperia Mobiles will get the upgrade -

October 2019: Oneplus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro get Android 10 update.

December 2019: OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T get the Android 10 update as Oxygen OS 10.0.1 after the first attempt of delivery failed the previous month.

February 2020: T-Mobile variants of the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 7 Pro are now seeding the update.

March 4, 2020: The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G global variant is now seeding the stable release. The update is also available for T-Mobile, and the US unlocked, international unlocked variants too.

March 22, 2020: OnePlus 7 Pro 5G on Sprint is getting this stable update release.

Can I use Android 10 as a Daily Driver?

:arrow: Since Android 10 contains a lot of bugs right now because it's in beta, you can't use it as a daily driver. If it's an official update, then you can download and enjoy the latest features.
