Which TracFones are being discontinued?
Since TF is acquired by Verizon and the big V carrier announced that it has terminated 3G services and only 4G LTE devices are supported by February 2022. Check more on devices supported. TracFone is yet to comment on this issue but many of the devices aren't working already.
Can you put a SIM card from a TracFone in another phone?
If you have purchased a phone from the TracFone website, then you don't need to buy a SIM card because the device comes with one inside. You also don't need to purchase a new airtime card.
