Here we go through "BLU Phone Wireless Update" to Android 11/10, Android 9.0 Pie, the main topic of discussions.
Hello and welcome to BLUCellPhones.us, an unofficial fan-based website for everything related to unlocked BLU mobile phone that you own. We have come up with several guides on how-to, tips and tricks, and a lot more.
Here in this exclusive guide, we go through BLU Phone Wireless Update, which is something different from what we have told you earlier on how to update BLU phones.
So, let's get started.
BLU Phone Wireless Update
There are a number of ways in which you can carry out a software update or upgrade on your device. Here we are they -
- Through PC by connecting Newest BLU Phone to PC using a USB cable.
- Flash BLU Phone: Flashing the Latest Firmware using Recovery Mode or custom recoveries.
- BLU Phone update wirelessly: Direct FOTA (Firmware Over the Air OTA) update. Magic just happens through your phone, no wire or software is needed. Enjoy!
So, let's get on the actual process of how to update the BLU phone wirelessly.
In order to upgrade your BLU Mobile phone wirelessly, your device should have the latest firmware available officially. Like the BLU Vivo XI+ which is now officially seeding the Android Pie update. Although it's beta, there is a software upgrade available. So, that's what I mean to say. Your device should be pushed with a software upgrade officially. If you see any custom firmware available for your device, then it should be flash via custom recovery or stock phone recovery.
If you see an upgrade available to your device, you will be notified right on top of your device in the notification panel about the software availability. The BLU phone update notification will also list out the features, improvements and any bug fix included in the upgrade. This is your FOTA (Firmware upgrade Over the Air).
In the FOTA upgrade, you will neither need a PC/Computer nor a USB cable to perform the upgrade process. The only thing you should be getting is the official firmware upgrade available.
- Doesn't require either a USB Cable or a PC/laptop.
- Doesn't even require flashing software.
- Software update may be glitched sometimes
