StraightTalk APN Settings Android
APN stands for Access Point Names and these values are different based on your service provider. If you have a StraightTalk mobile phone that is powered by Android OS and manufactured by Samsung, LG, Sony, Motorola, or any other phone then follow these steps to modify the APN values -
- Go to Settings and then select Connections.
- Now Select Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.
- Now Press Add in the top right corner and enter the below-mentioned values.
You can enter the below mentioned values.
StraightTalk 5G APN Settings:
Here is the APN Settings for Straight Talk on your phone -
Name: Internet/MMS 2
APN: tfdata
Proxy: Leave empty or default
Port: Leave empty or default
Username: Leave empty or default
Password: Leave empty or default
Server: Leave empty or default
MMSC: http ://mms-tf.net (make sure no space in between)
MMS proxy: mms3.tracfone.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC:
MNC:
Authentication type: Leave empty or default
APN Type: default,hipri,mms,supl,fota (as mentioned above, no spaces in between)
APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
Restart your phone to apply the new 4G/5G Internet Settings.
Straight Talk iPhone APN Settings:
If you have an iPhone or any other iOS device, follow the process mentioned below -
- Tap on Settings and then Cellular.
- Tap on Cellular Data Options and then Cellular Data Network.
- Go to Cellular Data and enter the following details -
APN: tfdata
Username:
Password:
In the MMS field enter the following details -
APN: tfdata
Username:
Password:
MMSC: https://mms-tf.net
MMS Proxy: mms3.tracfone.com
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: https://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
Press the Home button to save the APN settings and apply new iPhone settings.
How to Reset Straight Talk APN Settings
There are two ways in which you can reset StraightTalk APN -
Method 1: Through USSD Code:
You need to send one SMS from your mobile to reset these Straight talk settings -
APN to 611611
Method 2: Manually Through Phone:
- On your phone, head to Settings and then tap on Connections.
- Now under Connections tap on Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.
- Click on the 3 Dots on the top right side and hit 'Reset to Default'.
- That's it done!
You will just have to restart your phone, or it may not be required (in some cases).
