Everything to know about QLink Wireless HP Serrano Phone Reviews

HP Serrano Phone

Everything to know about the HP Serrano phone sold at QLink Wireless and as an unlocked phone in the US market.

When I was writing this article, I had two things in my mind regarding what should be the introduction because we have talked a lot more about QLink Wireless(published 10 articles related to QLink services & how to), but as I had to go one way and so I choose to talk about "Hot Pepper" in the context of HP Serrano phone.

HP Serrano Phone

The Hot Pepper Serrano phone is manufactured by Hot Pepper USA which makes mobile phones and tablets. The official website is https://www.hotpepperusa.com and its About Us page is a bit weird and says "Hot products, Solid quality".

The company has just got started in making phones and right now there are 3 phones and two tablets for sale. The latest mobile phone made by them is the Serrano 3 with model number HPP-L55B.

Talking about the HP Serrano phone, specifications-wise this device comes with a 5.5-inch FW+ IPS display with 2.5D glass protection on top. It's powered by a MediaTek MTK6739 Octa-core chipset with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage(microSD card slot for memory expansion).

From the camera-wise, there is a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing. 2200 mAh battery keeps the device running for one-day usage on a normal basis.

Sadly this phone doesn't include 5G connectivity and it comes with only 4G LTE connectivity as we might have to wait for the first Hot Pepper 5G phone.

Cons:

We have identified the following cons in the mobile -

  • No 5G: Sadly this Serrano mobile lacks 5G connectivity
  • Limited inbuilt storage in the mobile: There is only 16 GB storage and the system itself consumes more than 2 to 3 GB storage, so use is available in only 11 or 12 GB.

Conclusion:

We at BLUCellPhones believe in providing the right buying advice and so we provide the right option based on ground reality.

Overall, the screen is great and these days rarely you will find a phone with a 5.5-inch display that lacks 5G, the camera isn't promising and falls back when it comes to internal storage  although it can be expanded by pumping in a micro SD card (supports up to 128 GB).

Pros

Compact size phone

Cons
  1. Runs on older Android 10 OS
  2. Internal Storage is less
  3. No 5G
