BLU Vivo XL4 gets March Android Security Update

BLU Vivo XL4 Android Security update

Google Security patch updates are the monthly updates delivered to Android smartphones but most OEMs don't provide these updates regularly. When it comes to software updates the BLU products had a very bad name but BLU Products CEO Mr. Manuel Ohev Zion promised to change things quickly with the launch of the flagship Vivo XI+ last year.

The Android Pie beta update for Vivo XI+ was announced in January but still it has to get the official public release (full and final). I know this has been a long delay and I hope BLU Products development is working on it. But as of now, we have the news that the Google Security update for March 2019 is now rolling out to BLU Vivo XL4.

Thanks, Cyrano for this news who has also done a video while updating his device. Here it is -

This happens to be the first major upgrade to the BLU Vivo XL4 smartphone and comes with regular sets of bug fixes and minor improvements. This happens to be a wireless update so no wires are required to update.

There are questions about whether this device will get the Android Pie update or not. Let me tell you that there is no confirmation officially from the BLU team. So, better believe that it's not coming.

The BLU Vivo XL4 is still available for purchase from Amazon at $149.99 [BuY NoW

]. The device is rated 4.3/5 on Amazon.

Is it the new beginning that we were expecting from BLU Products?
